What items should you donate?
Items like juice, canned protein, fruits & vegetables, and tomato products are good things to collect. Our experience also shows we are always in need of:
Food must be in its original packaging, unopened, and unexpired.
Items like juice, canned protein, fruits & vegetables, and tomato products are good things to collect. Our experience also shows we are always in need of:
- cat or dog food
- canned diced, whole, crushed or stewed tomatoes
- cereal, oatmeal, and breakfast food
- jam or jelly
- baking supplies
- canned meats (hash, spam, anchovies, clams, sardines, sausage)
- condiments (oil, vinegar, ketchup, etc.)
- coffee, tea, hot chocolate
- cleaning supplies (all purpose cleaner, laundry soap, etc)
- paper products (toilet paper, tissues, paper towels)
- feminine hygiene health and beauty aids (razors, hand soap, body wash, shampoo, etc)

WHERE TO DONATE
Pittsford Area Drop-offs
Of course, you can bring your food directly to us at 3800 Monroe Ave, door #26 but several locations are also collection sites for PFC. Donations can be left in one of our green PFC drop boxes at:
- Pittsford Library
- Pittsford Recreation Center
- The Senior Center
- Pittsford Town Hall
- Pittsford Village area churches
Adopt-A-ShelfIndividuals and community organizations can partner with the Pittsford Food Cupboard by taking responsibility for a shelf. This means the organization helps to ensure items in a chosen food category are in good supply for a committed amount of time.
