What to Donate

What items should you donate?

Check out our Current Needs list to learn which foods are especially helpful to us right now.
Our experience also shows we are always in need of:
- cat or dog food
- 100% juice
- baking supplies (sugars, frosting, vanilla, choc chips, etc)
- canned meats (hash, spam, anchovies, clams, sardines, sausage)
- condiments (soy sauce, bbq sauce, ketchup, mayo, relish, etc.)
- canned diced, whole, crushed or stewed tomatoes
- jam or jelly
- coffee, cold drinks
- cleaning supplies (all purpose cleaner, laundry soap, dish soap, etc)
- paper products (toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, napkins)
- health and beauty aids (razors, hand soap, body wash, shampoo, etc)
- feminine hygiene (tampons, pads, bed liners, adult underwear)

Food must be in its original packaging, unopened, and unexpired.

Pittsford Area Drop-offs

Of course, you can bring your food directly to us at 3800 Monroe Ave, door #26 but several locations are also collection sites for PFC. Donations can be left in one of our PFC drop boxes at:

Pittsford Recreation Center
The Senior Center
Pittsford Town Hall
Pittsford Village area churches

Squires Orthodontics

Rotary Food Drive

Rotary Club of Pittsford typically conducts a food drive the first Saturday of each month. Just pull up to the Pittsford Sutherland High School bus loop and they will help to unload your items.

Adopt-A-Shelf

Individuals and community organizations can partner with the Pittsford Food Cupboard by taking responsibility for a shelf. This means the organization helps to ensure items in a chosen food category are in good supply for a committed amount of time.
