Make a difference by supporting our various community events. Your time and effort provide vital support to those in need. 
Here are some ways to get involved either individually or as a group:

ROC The Day

ROC the Day is a 24-hour, online event that gives people in our community an opportunity to support all of the not-for-profit organizations doing great work in the nine-county Greater Rochester area. During the day of giving you may visit Pittsfordfoodcupboard.net and follow the link to the ROCTheDay site by clicking on the button below.  

East Ave Grocery Run

The East Avenue Grocery Run is a 5K Run/Walk and a 1 Mile Walk through the streets of the historic East End of Rochester to support local food pantries. When you select the Pittsford Food Cupboard as your sponsored organization, 100% of your race fee and all donations go directly to PFC!

DOOR-2-DOOR

​Whether you would like to organize a group or want to contribute as an individual, our DOOR-2-DOOR self-run food drive is a great option.  You decide where and when to hold a food drive. and we provide instructions. Community service hours can be earned for this program- just check with us for details.

Instructions:
  • download and print out a copy of the flyer
  • fill out the blanks with your information
  • make enough copies of the flyer to put one in each bag (email us if you want to use our paper collection bags)
  • deliver them to your neighborhood, your team, or any other gathering
  • Collect the food and deliver it to the Food Cupboard. Click here for hours and address.
